Unknown compiler

Dear all,
I tried to decompile a VB exe file. But VB Decompiler said it is compiled with unknown decompiler. I did not run the setup of the project. I just extract the exe file from cab file and try to decompile it. So do I need to run the setup and then decompile it again? Or is there something I missed? Thanks.

May be your program compiled not in VB 5.0 / 6.0 or packed/protected.

I also encountered the same problem, I can decompile using VB Rezq.

PS: We don't support warez/non-licensed versions. This versions may not works correctly.

When I used VB Decompiler Lite v8.2 for Japanese VB6 application, the "Unknown compiler "error happened.

Change locale to English in Windows Control Panel -> Regional settings, restart Windows and try again. May be you try to decompile non VB6 application.
